Sunday Service

10 a.m. Worship

We believe that worship is an encounter between the triune God and God’s people. In worship, God speaks through Scripture and the sacraments and by God’s Spirit, and we respond with praise, confession and thanksgiving. This dialogue with God shapes us into people who love what God loves, equipping us to live as faithful disciples.

We value a mix of traditional and modern music and we are blessed to be led in worship by several classically trained string players, an accomplished vocal jazz singer, all performing music arranged by our musical director, Brian Crisholm.

Each service includes meaningful liturgy and prayer, thoughtful sermons with relevant, biblical teaching and communion.

Children's Church

At CoTA, we desire to help young people on their journey to lifelong discipleship. We believe this happens through teaching and worship that engages their hearts and minds and inspires them to want to know and love Jesus even more.

Each Sunday, all the children are invited to join their parents in worship. Then, they are blessed by the whole community and dismissed to go to their Sunday school classrooms. 0-3 year olds go to the upstairs nursery, just outside the sanctuary. 4-9 year olds go downstairs to their class room for a time of worship, prayer, art and play.

Parents are always welcome to accompany their child if needed.

Lunch and Fellowship

Because we value relationships and community (and food!), we share a meal together after worship most Sundays. Bring lunch or venture out onto The Ave and grab takeout from one of our local restaurants. We love to treat first time visitors to lunch! We also have seriously impressive monthly potlucks. Join us!
