Friday Feast

Friday Feast is one of Seattle's longest running community meals. Every Friday, for nearly 30 years, our staff has worked with an army of dedicated volunteers to turn donated food and supplies into a restaurant quality meal for our neighbors in need. Many of the guests we serve are chronically homeless and food insecure and struggle with addiction and/or mental illness.

One of the things for which Friday Feast is most known and valued is being a place where there is genuine community among our volunteers and the guests we serve. For this reason, even though the meal is currently served out of a humble garage, the meal is a highly respected program within the homeless community and in Seattle at large.

Always available at the meal is a wide variety of fresh produce, donated clothing and other items, a hot dinner and a safe space to sit and stay a while.

Volunteers are welcome to help with meal setup from 3-5 p.m. and meal service from 5-7 p.m. To volunteer, contact us at fridayfeast@churchontheave.org.
